Parent-Infant Class: FRIDAYS

Service Description

This cohort meets for 5 weeks. Parent-infant classes are inspired by RIE (Resources for Infant Educarers) and the respectful caregiving principles of Magda Gerber. Our Parent-Infant classes are an opportunity for parents to gather in a safe, supportive environment with their little ones. The classes are for a parent/ caregiver and their baby (6 weeks - early walkers). Siblings in this age group of 6 weeks - early walkers can also attend. Please email me about enrolling a sibling. At each class, we will begin with brief introductions and check-ins and then sit back and watch the children explore and play with safe, open-ended toys. We spend moments in observations of the children at play and share our observations. In each class we discuss RIE principles, reflect on it and have conversations around parenting, child development and RIE. We welcome you to join our warm and supportive community of families where your little one finds play & engagement in early relations with their peers, and a safe place for you to find community and support on your parenting journey. Prorated fee is available for those joining after the session has begun. Email me for details. No make-up class is offered for this session.
