About the event
Come and experience a parent-infant playgroup inspired by Magda Gerber's respectful caregiving principles of RIE (Resources for Infant Educarers). To learn more about RIE, visit www.rie.org.
These playgroups serve as a guide for parents where you are invited to practice slowing down and observing infants as they move, explore and interact with genuine curiosity so that in time, we may discern: What is my child telling me?
We will engage in discussions around their emerging skills, listen closely to their cues and engage with respectful care. With each class, we will walk away with new information and insight about what your child is telling you.
These playgroups offer infants and their parents/caregivers to gather weekly in a safe space, to lean into the RIE principles and take home what we can, to adopt and practice in our homes. With each playgroup class, we continue to build upon these practices while also…
