"COMMUNITY PLAY": Parent-toddler playgroup (14 months-2.5 years) younger siblings welcome

Join a RIE-inspired "community playgroup" where children lead their play, movement and exploration while adults hold space for this child-led play.

Here are some questions/wonderings that often come up for discussion during our playgroups:

• What will you observe when your children are in a space that's safe and free for them to move, explore and interact in ways that is developmentally appropriate?

• What are the quiet developmental shifts that happen and what are we noticing?

• Are children ready to understand the concept of "sharing"?

• What are we noticing when we allow them space to follow their interests and time to create their own play or follow their own inner direction that leads them to develop the skills that they need?
