Service Description
This group meets for 6 weeks. There will be no classes Thanksgiving week and Dec 18th - Jan 3rd) Parent-infant classes are inspired by RIE and the respectful caregiving principles of Magda Gerber. Our Parent-Infant classes are an opportunity for parents to gather in a safe, supportive environment with their little ones. The classes are for a parent/ caregiver and their baby (2 months - early walkers). Siblings in this age group of 2 months - early walkers can also attend. Please email me about enrolling a sibling. At each class, we will begin with brief introductions and check-ins and then sit back and watch the children explore and play with safe, open-ended toys. We spend some moments in observations of the children at play, we then discuss what we observe, and have conversations around parenting, child development and RIE. We welcome you to join our warm and supportive community of families where your little one finds play and friendships and you find community and support on your parenting journey. Prorated fee is available for those joining after the session has begun. Email me for details. No make-up class is offered for this session.
